I'm thinking about adding a pleco to my 125 gal with my 7 inch male jag but I am a little leary he does seem to be pretty aggresive but have been told it should not be a problem especially if i purchase one close to his size. Are plecos that beneficial to an aquarium in removing algae?

The key to keeping Jags with plecos is to have plecos with the jag as it grows. I had a 11 inch jag with plecos with no problem.
