i have just bought a 90 gallon tank and the only occupants right now is a juvi tex and a pleco, the lfs has a 3 inch female jag and i was wondering if she would do alright in the tank.

Sorry Shane l dont think that will work, because they're just gonna fight and one of them is just gonna end up dying so itz not worth it in the end!!!!!!
Not a good idea, you'll wind up with a massacre on your hands. Hard to say which would do the killing. But one of em wouldn't survive.
if they were similar size, and the Tex was a male, then I'd say a likely result is that they would pair up ... but since the Tex is a juvi, I'd say this is a risky idea ...
