Just got my jag into new 125 setup and i have ugf with about 75 % of bottom of tank covered with large rocks and the other is quarter inch gravel and he is moving it around. Is my only option to put more large rocks where he can not do so,and how will this affect the performance of the ugf? I also have 2 power filters in tank for filtration but was wondering if by him moving the rock to where the vents on the ugf are exposed in spots if this will be a major problem?

I'm new to this if you can't tell.

one is a 30-60 and the other is the next size up from that one that has the bio wheels and additional carbon cartridges.

Ditch the ugf in my opinion, and invest in a canister filter or even a sump.
