Jag coloration/hybrid?

These crappy pics where taken about two weeks ago he still hasn't colored up to "normal" still half black will update more pics when I get home tomorrow but any input would be nice.he eats like a champ and is in with a female of same size show no signs of breeding between the two...just wierd coloration

I'd just keep growing it. The bigger it gets the easier it'll be to tell.

I have had jags thy were all black when they were young so I wouldn't worry about it being a hybrid yet.

Yeah gonna grow him out but it's been weeks and stays the same, all black would be cool but I'm sure he'll grow out of this thanks for replies...

100% Managuense.

I've seen a lot of juvenile managuense with very dark black coloration. Mine had the same thing but he edventually grew into his 'mature' colors.
