Jag colour.....

At what age/size do Jag's colour up properly?

My 2.5" baby is very dark. He will brighten up at feeding time, even showing a lovely blueish hue over his silver and black markings. Then he will darken again, and go to the back of the tank. He is not particularly picked on.....but does have a feud going on with the 2.5" texas in there.....

hmmm mine was like that until about 5inches then one day he brightened up and never went back,,,,here have a butchers
when i got him<1year ago TODAY>2Inch ish

I'm having the same problems with my two small jags. They hide and only come out at feeding time. I am relieved to hear that is somewhat normal behavior for little jags.
