jag/demp and now eggs!?!

not someone who breeds. put a 5 inch jag and a 9 inch demp in a 90 gallon tank last week. came in this morning and saw what apears to be eggs. can these two reproduce? any info/advice, what to expect would be appreciated. i have two other 30 long tanks i can set up if needed. thanks for any help!

seems possibl. ive seen dempsys breed with lil convicts and with red devils. sounds like a cool mix. save me some babies

the eggs look infertile though! look to pail and not dark enough hope some are fertile though that would be a sweet mix!

I only now saw the thread...I don't believe that they can breed.. what happened is that your jag is a female and she just had to get rid of the eggs...I've had it more than once with jag females...
