Jag-dempsey mix

Is it possible for a jaguar cichlid to breed with a jack dempsey. I have a male dempsey and a female jag and it seems like there doing a mating dance in the tank. Plus there are making what seems to be a bed in a private part of the tank

Yeah it's possible. There is a sticky in the hybrid section that shows an adult offspring of that mix. Pretty impressive looking fish.

In the thread I'm referring to, it says nothing about an ebjd. Just "Jack Dempsey x Jaguar". Here is one of the pics.
