Jag+Dovii...Is it a possibility?

I temporarily put my 11 inch female jag in with my 6-7 inch male dovii because she turned into a big jerk in her other tank. She is exhibiting breeding behavior and her tube is very visible. Is this combination possible? Is the dovii mature enough to produce fry? Thanks in advance.
