Jag eggs hatched

for anyone that missed my thread a few days ago..my jag pair have spawned..eggs hatched today..there were more infertile eggs than i thought, they started to mold over last night..i figured the other eggs were doomed..but they hatched out this morning, the mother carefully moved them behind the rock and piled them up..which is what you see in this video..i wish it was better quality..but its the best i can do for now..i'll get some pics up later..

do you know how to tell if the jag is a male or female because i got a female that is laying eggs and i want to find a male.

males generally have more spotting than a female, with violet coloring, and sharper fins..it can be confusing at times, if you watch the vid, the female is the one moving the fry, you can see the differences in the two
