jag eggs!

my 3in jags have eggs! I bought 5 jags 2 weeks ago to get a pair and I did.the problem is what to do with the other 3. Do I go in a disrupt the entire tank getting them out? or do I leave them in and just let fate decide.

Take them out your jags are good parents and WILL kill the others or place a tank divider in.

im getting my net ready to go in and try to get them without knocking things around to much.

Just make sure that in the chaos of trying to net the unwanted that you don't mistakingly net the parents. If they are too hard to catch leave them in and when the fry hatch the parents will divide the tank for you!

cant get them.. it failed! they are way to fast and with 8 pieces of driftwood its impossible without destroying the tank..oh well I wish them good luck.

Just leave them. Don't do anything to stress the parents. Soon you will be able to get the odd ones out.

thanks! the tank has settled down and the parents are guarding the nest the other jags have moved to the corners of the 75 gallon tank.

heres a pic of the eggs..im not sure,but it looks like they might be turning white which could be a bad thing
