Just picked up 4 Jaguar cichlids (2 male/2 female) from my LFS and was wondering what else to feed these guys besides night crawlers, and crickets. Unfortunately when I ordered them I was hoping they would be about an inch long and still eating brime and blood worms, but instead they are all a lil over 5 inches and won't touch either. :nilly: I've tried crickets (love them) and night crawlers (so-so) but can't think of anything else. They refuse to touch flakes or any cichlid food... but they ate the 10 gold fish (no biggie) I used to cycle the tank and 2 green terrors  I was hoping to raise up to go with one of the pair. Plz help on suggestions, all and any are welcome.

Mine eat pellets. Sometimes when I switch brands they will go on a hunger strike for a few days.

feed them pellets...they'll eat them eventually.

^^^ pellets will make them healthier in the long run, they contain all the essential nutrients for a good healthy diet. Feed the crickets and nightcrawlers as treats. They will eat pellets, you might have to starve them for a couple days, but it's worth it in the long run if you can get them eating pellets as a main diet.

hakari cichlid gold is the daily feed of choice for mine with no complaints. Bloodworm and feeders are saved as a treat for him. They will hit the pellets eventually when they're hungry enough and realise nothing else is coming.
