I just got 10 baby jags that I ordered today. All just over an inch long. Just wondering what you all feed your jags, and how much, to get the best growth and coloration.

keep the temp up around 80 and for food i fed aquadine and massivore twice a day and my jag grew about 3/4'' a month. she hit a growth spurt around 3'' and blew up to 5'' in about a month and a half. but over all clean water and high protien food will make them grow into stunners

Hikari cichlid gold, brine shrimp, blood worms and time to grow em and give nice colors. My boy hit 11 inches by a year

Do a 30-50% water change every day if you want to see tons of growth. Feed high protein foods. A good pellet, shrimp, worms, beef heart, and keep a tank full of breeding guppies for instant feeders that you know are healthy and nutricious. Good luck.

30% water change a day, temp around 80 with crushed hikari cichlid gold and massivore maybe some beef heart too to get them growing like crazy!

I wasn't gonna say anything because beef heart has a bad rap but it made my boy grow fast
