well I dont know the gallons, but a friend gave me a old ocianic tank, so i resealed it and its good to go the dimensions are odd.. 60 long 19 wide and 21 high, so best guess is over 100 gallons just dont know the exact amount. I would like to know if a single male jag will be fine for life in this size tank

its 103 gallons if you go to the top and click on calculator you can do all the calculations and conversions very easily, IMO i would say thats a little small for a large male jag.

i say doable for a solo.... aquascape carefully, dont give up to much space to decorations etc and fishwise dont add much else, definately no other large/larger/medium cichlids or giant cats.

should be fine, or you could get a pair of there closely relative; Parachromis Fredrichshallei..

well I dont want to be borderline with any fish I want them to have all the space they need for life. Any ideas would be great
jml1997 ...I will place this on my list of options trying to stay away from the usual suspects like oscars and jd's have them already in other tanks looking for something different.
