jag laying eggs

well my jag is laying eggs which cofuses me as i don't know who she paired up with
i do know this the only one in my tank that she dosnt chase off is my oscar is this a possible match
because if it is that could be some really cool fish but i just don't know for sure if that is possible

any help would be awesome

of the tankmates you listed I'd say the best possibility is the midas. however females have been known to lay eggs with no other fish in the tank at all so she may not be paired up with anything. as for the possibility of a jag x oscar hybrid, well I won't say it's impossible but I'd say it's very unlikely.

how can i tell a male from a female so maybe i can go and get me one for her

thanks repair but is there any other way when they are smaller my jag is only 4 inches and i will probaly get a similiar size fish for her

btw repair them jags are bad @ss
