Whats the absolute minimum tank size for a jag? can I keep one alone for life in my 85?

What are the dimensions of your 85? I'd say a 125 would be the absolute minimum for a male, could maybe get by with an 85 for a female depending on the dimensions.

+1 on 125 minimum for a male. I couldn't picture my male in anything else without it looking very inadequate

I wouldn't say commonly get 15+ but males more often than not get at least 14

If say 125 I have my 14" true parrot in a 75 at the moment n he looks way too big. Glad it's not long term

6x18 is what I consider minimum. That tank wouldn't be good in the long especially for a male
