Jag N Dovii breeding...?

I think my male jag n female dovii are bumpin ugly's... has this happend before ? she laid eggs once already, but they didnt get fertilized (i think my jag is too young, he's only about 4.5") and the female dovii is about 4" they are beside eachother ALL the time and dig pits all over the tank. can these fish breed ?

yes these fish can breed, there is a thread in the cichlid forum, about somebody's pair, you can search around and find it, it was rescent

yeah ruck fules had a dovii x jaguar. but male dovii and female jag.

my jags bred when they were like 3-4" so don't be surprised by the size
