i just got a new jag and its about 7 inchs long looked very helthy in the tank that he was in and was out and swiming aLOT. now it is hiding all the time and never coming out.:irked::confused:

It is stressed. Give it a week or two to adjust to it's new surroundings. What size tank is it in, and are there any tankmates?

I assume that you know a 60 is too small for one adult jag right? But as I said before, it just sounds like your new guy is just stressed. Give him time.

ummmmmmmm as soon as that 7in jag is feeling comfortable your 1-2in jags will disappear, just putting that out there i would put the smaller ones in a smaller tank if you have one or they will be dinner and yes he is just stressed from being moved to a new environment he should warm up in no time make sure to spend time around the tank so he gets used to you and stay for a few mins after you feed so he associates you with food
