Still a little small but i am guessing female as well i see what santoury is saying the sides look a bit swollen unless u just fed her in the last pic or it does mean she's about to drop her first batch of eggs.lol

Yea I had to feed to get the pics. She always digs herself a nice empty spot in the gravel though, is that something the females do? Oh well Ill have to try again. Next time Ill buy 6 or so and hope for the best.

My female has better color than my male but that is not the norm in cichlids but she is no where near as agro as the male it depends on what u want in a jag.
