Just checked my jags vent got this pic checked all my other cichlids which I no are male or female and am still stumped by this hope this pic helps.

Not sure how many times I might have went back and forth about the sex of that fish but I know the last time I concluded male...despite the pattern it just plain looked like a male jag to me...no need to guess any more..vent confirms male...you are now invited to the male jag party coming soon......
