found this male jag in socal (at least i think it's male) for sale and it's too cheap to pass up :D
in any case, what do you guys think? the markings appear a bit eh... but he appears to have a lot of interesting blue markings on his fins.

think it's worth the 20 odd minute drive to see and maybe pick this guy up? he's around 10" supposedly. yay or nay to mr. jag here?!?! :popcorn:

I would walk there to get that Jag.:ROFL: I would go look at him myself and I would take him home to. Get him on some Hikari or New Life Spectrum and he would look awesome. So I say hes worth the 20 mintue drive to see.
 
i would probably pass an get a different cichlid. male jaguars with those sort of marking are all to common now.
 
ur yep get it.......a good water change and good food should sort out the colouration...its a beaut

i'm going over tonight to take a look. i'll try and rear it back to good health and see what the hidden potential is. it looks like it's doing OK, but the colors look really subpar. nothing like some good ol' krill, hikari gold, ken's cichlid pellets and massive water changes won't do!

Hey now...take it easy...that's what sort of markings my Jag has. He may not be the best looking Jag at MFK but he's my favorite fish. I raised him from just a wittle-bitty guy to over a foot now. Ewok you should get a juvie and grow him up.
