i have a male and a female jagxloisellei. both are brothers and sisters and they have bred. the frys are free swimming now. now would the frys grow out to look different or same like the parents?
Dont keep on with inbreeding because it only would give as a result low qualty specimens. This first generation of inbreeding migh turn out "well", but if you keep on doing it as, lets say, inbreed the outcome you would be degenerating the third generation. Same as if you, in some point, get one of the parents to breed with one of their sons.
Don't get me wrong I love hybrids. I am not a fond of deformed cichlids nor interbreeding. That said if your Trying to go for a certain trait. Breed one batch of Fry the first batch. Then if your successful breed a second batch, more easier said then done. Still its brother and sister though. It makes me feel better.
