Im not OP but that fish looks like Carpintis/Jag.

It should be a jagpintis or a carpinguar, lol. A very nice an interesting hybrid tho.

Very cool! I cant wait till mine is that size. Do you have to keep him alone?
And when i got him i tried to find out what type of Texas it was crossed with and all the guy could tell me was a Texas Cichlid... I always thought it was crossed with a Carpintis due to the size of the pearling but after seeing yours im not sure anymore

I thought it was a Carpintis mix also but i don't know for sure
