Jag x Uro

Here we go again. This time my 10" jag male, and my 6" uro female. I had kept them at bay for a few weeks, but they finally beat me today. I just caught the end of the laying and fertilizing, but shot a little video of them guarding. When I first approached the tank, the jag charged me, full flared, banging. I guess he got use to me being there, and along with chasing tankmates away, I never got his banging on video.

LOL I know, but I keep 2 synspilums, 2 parrots, a carpinte, 2 flowerhorns, a lyonsi, and a RTM in a tank and I can't get anything to pair off!

Haha, yeah, I just have some oddball luck. Unfortunately, I got home tonight to find them all gone. Pretty sure the jag took care of them. Kinda strange because yesterday he ran the uro out of the cave and guarded the nest HEAVILY. Still was when I got home this afternoon. I think he freaked because I got in there and cleaned out some that were getting fungus. I left, then came home to an empty nest. It'll probably happen in another 13-14 days, though.

lol I wish I had left them alone. The ones that were fungused just happened to be right in piles of good ones, and he didn't seem to be cleaning out. Maybe next time (which I'll be leaving them alone )
