Picked up a 6 inch Jag today for 19 bucks. Kid at LFS said it was a Wolf Cichlid I tried to tell him he was wrong but he knew more about fish than I did

Is that a lyonsi or a flowerhorn in your second photo? If it's a flowerhorn, it sure looks lyonsi-ish. If it's a lyonsi, nice fish.

Thats a lyonsi I got from Rapps last year along with a real nice female Festae

If i go to the LFS, and choose a fish, they talk, but i just tune them out as white noise.

I had one that got killed my my zonatus. Sad that I have to assume fish are flowerhorn unless told otherwise these days.

Sweet lyonsi and the jag is nice too. A little tattered and stressed but he'll clear up in a week and look awesome.
