Holy freakin Jags man! Thats awesome! What are you gonna do with all the little guys?

awesome, man....lookin' good

Very neat. How do you keep your water quality up with all of those little guys in with the parents? Also, have the adults began eating the little ones yet? Mine started eating the little ones when they decided they wanted to spawn again, and the fry were smaller than yours appear to be. Nice pair by the way.

My male looks just like yours. How is your pike liking all the fresh food?

Funny story they have been by themselves in a 55g. But got three new Cichla yesterday so they were put out. There in a tank with the DOVII mom and her four younglings. The Dovii mother dosen't bother her own but her and youngin eat the Jag fry. But the Jag fry eat the Jag fry. I usually seperate everyone but had to do some quick changes. As far as the parents I keep them seperate from there fry. When the have fry in the tank there in I move the pot they lay in to the tanks with the old fry are and let the old fry eat the new fry. It helps the older fry grow faster.

As far as water quality I do W/C twice a week at 50% - 75% on the dot every third or fourth day.

Thanks guys. Seperate tanks. The fry remain in the breeding 55g the parents spawn in a 100g in a pot and i just transfer the pot when i see wigglers.

There are two pikes with the parents and about 9 other cichlids in the tank. So I can't leave fry in this tank or it's over.

The Pikes love there ocassional Jag treats when I put a few back in for them to pig out.
