Jags going to breed

So last week I re scaped my tank, added a large flat stone took out 70lbs of rock and have 1 cave under my big stone well anyway my jags take turns hanging in the caves, show no more aggression and im prettY sure will breed soon, both are 5 inches, live in my 200 gallon alone, if and when they breed what can I do with the babies? My brother n law wants a bunch for feeders can I sell em? Online, pet store

My jags had some fry, and it was a bunch of 'em. I sold a bunch on craigslist and basically gave the rest away. Once your pair spawn, they will keep spawning. Your gonna end up with a bunch of fish.

What do you do with all the young? I read upwords of 500, what would you say is the average yeild per spawn? Congrats on the new young

We'll see how many I end up with, the last time I must have had about 700. I'll post some pics when they hatch

The fry are doing well, its funny I forgot how protective the jags get. The male looks like he wants to kill everything that goes by the tank. My cat used to sit up on the tank, but now she stays out of my fish room all together. Have the parents been eating? My two haven't eaten in over a day.

my female is about 10 inches and she lays a guestimate of 1000-1500 at a time. at least once a month. its one of the biggest batches of fry ive seen in a long time. i sell, trade, store credit, my fry and growouts. also fry is a good food source for my other cichlids im growing out
 
my jags just spawned today its not a real big batch but its a started they hadnt bred it a while bc i moved the male. i use mine mostly as food but sometimes ill give them away, since im young my parents wont let me sell them, but the guy at my local pet store wants a batch of them so im thinking ill trade a bunch for a small dovii so i can grow it out
