Jags+ honduran red points

Do you guys think a group of 5-6 hrp and a pair of jags would work in a 125?,what would be a good m/f ratio for the hrp,are they as feisty as regular cons?.Thanks.

I have never owned HRPs but if they act anything like breeding Convicts, you could be setting yourself up for problems by having multiple pairs. It will probably be best to try having same-sex HRPs with the pair of Jags. Give plenty of hiding places for the HRPs. When the Jags breed they will become very territorial.

Honduran red points stay smaller and are quite a bit less aggressive than standard convicts. I've got a breeding pair in a 29 gallon with neon tetras and some barbs and there is minimal aggression.

I'd be worried about the jags ending up eating the HRP's as males don't get much larger than 4" and females stay smaller than that.

The jags will most likely get too large for the HRPs. I don't think they'll survive the aggression from a breeding pair of jags.

Thanks guys,everything said pretty much confirmed what I was thinking,I have a spare 90 I think I'll set up for some kind of con set up,any ideas for a 90g crypto set up?
