Long Story Short-

Ok, so I am removing everything but the 5" Jack, My Buddy is taking my Tiger O, my Con's (2 Males) and my Texas (Great to see him go to a good home that I can visit him now and then!). Ill miss my Tex, but alas.

I will have a 125 for the 5" Jack,
and a Striped Raph.

I am going to add 1 of the Juvi Jags (2") (He has to be the Fattest Juvi Fish I have ever seen!)

What else would work??

Im thinking about another Texas, as I love the buggers, but could not force my 5" guy to work with the Jag. He would be meat.

What else would work??

My options...
Texas (Juvi)
Midas (Juvi)
Salvini (Juvi)

From personal experience, my 3" jag and my 3" texas both now and then spar by liplocking and flaring gills at each other, but it hasnt got to the point where it was serious, though im only speaking from the experience of them as little ones, when they get big as adults i'm not sure. But i have read that texas are semi-aggressive, and the jag is either hit or miss, referring to their aggressiveness. I think as long as theres places for the bullied fish to hide and take cover, it'll be ok, if anything, separate them or sell one. good luck!

i think you'd be preety well stocked already, just 2 jags can easily fill up a 125, i personally wouldn't add anymore fish, espetially, one growing as large as a midas or the such.

Most likely its going to weigh heavily on your jag's personality. If he says no, then it just won't work. Otherwise, I'd say 1 Jag, the jack, and a salvini would work out w/ some cool dithers of course. (not the one's that get airborne all the time.)

Thanks! I see you remember my Giant Danio fiasco! I just want a kick azz combo for my 125!

I just bought a Black gravel to replace the white....want to bring out the colors! the white was bleeding em booring......

I Love my Juvi Jag, and I saw some sweet looking JD's Tex, RD's and am looking for the right mix. I would love a Sal, just very hard to come by here for some reason!

Have you decided what you are going to do yet? In all honesty, if you jag is male, its gonna be difficult to keep him in a 'cool community' setting. I think a 6' tank is bare minimum for a male jag, and I just don't see him sharing a whole lot of space. The combos I have seen work, all had fish that were larger, or around the same size as the jag. I guess if you were extremely careful, you might be able to work something out, but for now you've got time to scheme. Maybe a female species would work better?
