jags laid eggs!!

ok my jags that I had a hunch about pairing up actually did
and laid eggs today!!
i took some pictures
but i relized that they both look like females and the eggs were unfertilized!

but i am not an expert and i would like to know if any of these are true

No idea about the male however if it helps...from the picture I can definatly tell you that you have at least ONE female...LOL In any case you'll know before long.

the eggs are fertile if they stay that colour, just got to wait a day or 2

In the last pic, the one on the right looks male.

In any event, i highly doubt any one female would alloy another female near her spawn, whether fertilised or not.

yes i highly doubt that they are bot females

but the one i thought was a male in the begining grew alot faster than the other one but now as its bigger it looks more like a female!?

the smaller one looks like it could be a male you can clearly see its pattern on its fins and not so much so with the other plus it has a much darker gold to it and the larger on looks to have pink and wightish colors pointing to female but its hard to say at that size but the male WILL catch up to the female give it time when the female is 5'' the male (if it is one) will be around 6-7''
also i don't think two females would breed but theres a first time for every thing, and wouldn't there be two batches of eegs
