Lol they look so big in the close up pics but once ya see the whole tank man do they look tiny. Granted 300g tank will make most fish look tiny in comparison. Good size for a forever home tho. Ya got yourself a real nice looking male too, tank would look a lil better with some more wood work but not bad tho for what ya got in there so far. Ever thought of adding in some more plants like anubias or Java fern?My Jag is enjoying his new 300 gallon tank. Hes really coming alive since getting moved from his 85 to the 300. Yeah this tank has some serious potential. Just sucks that most plants wouldn't be able to survive in a cichlid tank. Jags are absolutely beautiful fish and one of my favorite cichlids. I think some lilies would be nice if the jags would allow em, it would definitely add a more top water predator vibe to the tank imo.Thanks.
Magnus_Bane the male jag is 10” or just over and the other jag is right around 7”. The rock the male is sitting by is massive and that piece of manzanita is 32” long. I agree the 300 tank does make things look smaller and theres still a decent amount of tank outside the furthest pic. I will be adding more wood I just have to find the right looking pieces. Ya I will probably add more plants as I add the wood pieces.
