Jags or freddy?

Saw these guys at a lfs. They were being sold as jaguars but im pretty sure they are freddys. What do you guys think?

Really? Interesting.never seen a jag with the red line running across the top fin like these

Looks like Jag to me. Below are two pics of my female Freddy as juvenile three months apart and one now - still young at 5 inches or so

Interesting .id rather have jags actually.these guys are small 2.5" or so

Those look very similar to the F-1 honduran jags that I picked up from Dan at cichlids of the Americas last month. I would get them in a heartbeat

Interesting. Well the guy at the fish store said he wants to get rid of them bc all they do is fight lol. He told me i could have the remaining fish(6-7) for $3 a piece

That's a steal. Go for it. You should be able to raise a pair out of a group that size.
