iowa
i looked down in my pond in the back corner where my jags have hung out together since they were introduced, lo and behold i see rocks spread all over the bottom of my pond. WTF, then i looked around a little more and all the rocks are out of the pot that one of my elephant ear plants is in. my jags were teaming up to remove all debris from the pot creating a cave in the roots of the plant. possibly preparing to breed? or just redecorating? thoughts on the matter? (jags are about 8" a piece and i know that one of the 2 is a female, no def. sex on the other)

its 3' underwater. kind of hard to see anything plus its near my filter so the top of the water is distorted. it would be hard to see fry swimming around let alone eggs. so im just gonna have to hope for the best.

yup sound like youll have fry soon. can we get pics of the pond?

its an indoor pond i live in iowa, its 28 degrees right now.
it is 8x8x3

the distortion i was talking about, makes it hard to see things in this area of the pond.

1 4 line pim
2 tinfoil barbs

such a nice pond... i love the way you did it... 28 degrees there... wow thats cold already..

I see what you mean about the distortion from the filter. If there were fry they probably wouldn't last very long anyway with your stocklist and that filter intake.
