today i seen my jags lip locking their still farly small like inch and half i did some reading and i found out this is a sign of courtship what is everyone opinion on this it dont look like there attacking each other ima try and get a pic of it

way to early to know. At that size they are just fighting. You have a good while before they start to breed if they are m/f!!!
 
with mine, i'm really don't think that it was courtship as much as it was, fighting for terrority, though they are breeding now. and at and inch and half, they aren't sexually mature enough to breed, though they may pair up in some case, but i think it's probably territorial fighting.
 
ya no way that it's courtship at that age. Don't plan on eggs just yet. Plus my jag pair never really lip lock while courting. The male just kinda does small bites on the females mouth, eyes, sides and tail. Nothing crazy but just little nips to get her in the mood.
