I have 2 spawns of jags and they are great.
To produce a hydrid I am trying to get my 3rd male jag to
spawn with my largest female Dovii. I would just like to see how
they turn out. Both are in the Parachromis family so would that be a true
hybrid?

The reason im askin is beacause my convict keeps looking at the jags like he is in love but the jags are just babies so how big do the jags have to be and has anyone heard of these 2 breeding together?Just to be clear im not intentionally trying to breed them just wondering!
Lol, no. Jags sexually mature at around 4". They won't be near large enough at that size to eat a con that's more than 2". But I wouldn't make a hybrid, just cause. XP If your jags turn out to be male and female, they will pair up and beat the con.
