Would these two work together? One of my lfs has some arowana in right now and I am considering getting one. I am not going to just go out and get one with out figuring out if these two can work together. Also would these two fit in a 210 gallon aquarium together? Thanks ahead of time.

Matt

lol you made three threads of the same subject? lol no need to people will answer your question no matter what ;). but it depends the size of the tank, and each fish has a different personality so you cant tell, until you try it

Well my jag seems to be really aggressive towards my motaguense, but he tends to leave my firemouth alone. Also everytime i've tried to put one of my oscars with him he will constantly harass it. Right now they are in a 125 together(the jag, mota, firemouth, and baby african). If I got an aro I would get a 210 when the aro got a bit bigger, and when I get a bit more money. Would an aro at full size be able to live with a jag?

Matt

^ yes if you had a big tank, 210 would still be kinda small for a full grown aro. sounds like your jag is kinda agro, i wouldnt risk buying aro and then it being killed. but if you do, make sure you watch the jag to see how he reacts.

What kind of arowana? A jardini usually don't do well with tank mates but could live in the 210g depending on dimensions. A silver aro will eventually need larger then a 210g tank, but could be kept with a jag.

If you do mix the aro and jag I would recommend the aro be at least 9-10" and twice as long as the jaguar.
