Ok so I had an emergency in one of my tanks and I moved my female hoffa in with my male jag. Well theyre getting along, so well that they've actually paired up. Heres the dilemma...the jag is the father of the hoffa cichlid. I don't plan on keeping these fry but except maybe for feeders. Can father daughter "bonding" effect the adults in any way? Morally I'm a little wierded out. Any thoughts?

That's how line breeding is done a lot of the time.
When a fish has a recessive trait you want, You breed it.
Then take one of the siblings, And breed it back to the original.
This will result in a number of fry with the recessive traits.

A hoffa cichlid is the trade name for a jaguar dovii hybrid. good to hear your going to be responsible with these hybrids.
