They've made chimeras in china already so I wouldn't say it's impossible, just highly unlikely .

'chimeras' can happen naturally. a pike cichlid, and a 'regular' cichlid just can't happen. but if it did, cool. i want pics.

to make a hybrid the organisims have to be closly related hence you can cross american with african cichlids. You cant cross cat with dogs they may have sex but she will not get pregnant.
