I bought one of these about 6 months ago at 2 inches long. He is now easily 12-14 inches long and well over a pound. That growth rate is almost starving him as well, since I don't want him growing to fast as to eat my Champ/Hap Africans. So far he shows little interest in live food, happily eating shrimp pellets off the bottom. Oh he loves pasta too, LOL! Does anyone know exactly how big these guys get, and any info that would be helpful??? Thanx!!!

24'' is common but they can get up to around 30'' there an interesting catfish they need a big tank with a nice wide open spot to streach there barbles if they can't streach them out freely it causes them alot of stress but a very nice cat
