Jaguar catfish and jack dempsey cichlid?

How would a Jack Dempsy go with a jaguar catfish in a 50? I think i might get one if they are ok with each other, i just want to make sure one can fend for himself. Thanks!

Yeah I'd like to know this combination as well. Please reply. Also i would like to know if a pictus or striped Raphael work better than a jaguar catfish.

All catfish's mentioned would do fine in a 50+gallon fish tank with a Jack Dempsey.

The jack and jag can live together but a 50 will be too small for them both only the jack can live in that, a 125 would be the minimum tank for them both because you would want them both to hav their own territory also there will be some fighting but just monitor it
