They're great fish, but you'll only see them at feeding time lest you put them in a bare tank. Some things I've learned is that they're sensitive to temperature sometimes refusing to eat if the temps over 77 degrees fahrenhite. Other than that it's the same as keeping other fish just keep your water quality immaculate. They're peaceful and despite people saying not to trust them with small fish I have had no problems with that. When they weren't eating I tried guppies to no avail to get them to eat. It was then thru much research I found about they're problems with temperature. Anyway good luck to you and if you have any question feel free to pm me.
