well this comes down to acouple of things, tank size, tank mates, tank filtration and your jag, if your tank is big enough (150g+) and it has enough filtration to hadle more fish, then you could try some tank mates, but the main thing is that the tank mates you choose have to be able to take the jags aggression, also note not all jags are "aggressive" they just protect their territory
 
+1 as long as they've got a cave or pipe to call home they'll just defend it from tankmates
 
Yes they can how big of tank, what kind of fish? How big are your fish?

+1....depends on your tank size , tankmates and their sizes.
I have 4 adult jaguars sharing space with an Oscar, 2 zebra tilapia , 1 peacock bass and 4 blood red parrots. They are pretty peaceful.
