I REALLY want a jag and lima shovelnose but im not sure if they can coexist. Can they? Also, I will be getting a 125 and I asked if a lima would be ok in a 125 and most people said it should be. Also, What temperature should the water be kept at for both of them? ph?:confused::confused::confused::confused:

I hope to see some responses to this, because I have almost exactly this question on my mind. I have a small cuban, some sevs, some cons. Can I add an appropriately sized Lima? Tank is 300g.

I think youll be ok IF your jaguar is too big to fit into the Limas mouth. UNTIL the Jag is big enough to start bullying it. I had a Lima in my 120 with a juvenile red devil. They did fine but I was anticipating problems a few months down the road. The Lima solved my dilema by jumping out the other night. Problem solved.

So they should be fine for awhile and if i get a more peacfull jag it should be ok in a 125?

Tjey should be fine as long as the lima's mouth isnt as big a the Jag.:)

Would they be better in a 125 that's 6x18x2 tall ord a 125 that's 6x2x17tall?

I think the only fish that might not survive in the long run is the convict.

Would a 5x2x2 be better ?
