Hello all, new to the forums and have a few questions. I just made a few changes to my tanks and now my Jags decided to spawn for me but now I'm worried about the fry getting sucked up into the canister filter. How do I stop this? Should I just put something like pantyhose on it or is there a better way? Also, while I'm here, how long before I should remove the fry to their own tank if at all? And lastly, is it normal to have a hyper aggressive female and a male that is a total punk, so much so that I came home from work the day they laid the eggs to find him chased out of a 3 inch wide slot in the back of the tank, laying on the floor covered in ants barely clinging to life. Dropped him back in and he seems to be doing fine 4 days later but she just about won' t let him move out of the end of the tank opposite the wigglers. Thanks in advance for any help/responses.

It seems best to leave fry with the parents. If you move some you should leave half for them to raise to avoid m/f from fighting more, because of losing the brood
