I have a pair in a 210 with other tankmates and they just spawned. The fry are tiny and I didn't plan on keeping the female but looks like I'm going to keep her now. They have a spot in the back of the tank near some rocks what should I know besides the obvious aggression that will come from them?

unless you plan on keeping some nothing, fry will get eaten after about 6 weeks.

Not worth to keep? They look cool to me.

Do you plan to pull them? If you don't they will probably be eaten by the other tank mates eventually. The jags I had were great parents. I pulled mine after a few days. I fed mine egg flakes, I just crushed the flakes up in my hand to make tiny pieces and moved it in the water so it would start sinking toward the fish. They grew decently fast.

i have a 20 gallon with a few fish in it I might transfer them over in like a week. The male was pretty good about the tankmates till the light when off then he took exception to my leporinus if he went anywhere near the fry

i have a pair in a 100 gallon and they're about 3 inches. the female is rubbing herself on the inside of a pot and the male is chasing away the other fish in the tank. could they be spawning?

I feed mine crushed pellets. spawn as of today.
