Hello,

I recently got a jaguar cichlid as my focal point for my 180 gallon tank. Though I have had experience with other new world cichlids and know a fair amount about specific care about jags, I would love to hear any tips or advicd that jag owners would like to show.

Jags are pretty easy to take care of. Mines currently 5 years old and shes doing great. Weekly water changes and feeding every other day once its 15-16 inches will ensure a long life.
 
Can reach 15-16 inches, territorial, aggressive, fairly easy as far water goes but prefer it on the cleaner side. Can be brutal on tank mates should it prove to be a male but can be kept with others.
