Jaguar cichlid growth

I was wondering how fast do jaguar cichlids grow. I have one that's about 1.5 inches long and was just wondering how fast they grow. Thanks.

Usually around an inch a month. You'll see some months with less growth, and sometimes a growth spurt. Frequent water changes should help.

Get him on NLS pellets ASAP! Should be at least 8inches if not closer to 12 in a year!

6-8 inches in the first year is the norm.

All my jags hit at least 9-10 inches with 9-12 months,males have occasionally hit a foot by their first year so hey can grow pretty quickly
