Jaguar Cichlid Growth!

Show me pics and experiences about your jaguar cichlid growth rate from juvenile to adult stage please be free to explain that how fast they grow I know their growth tends to slow down above 9 to 10" long to make this faster how should I feed them high protein foods like krill since my dad told me to feed them once a day only I wonder if this is correct feeding time and I’m just concerned about my RTC outgrowing new comers in weeks or months that ate my 7” and 8” tarpon mangrove jack before the cichlid was added to that pond?

I find that its less about food and more about water changes

the growth of the motaguense above went from 2¨fry to almost 10 inches for the male in about a year.
I try to do about 100% water changes per week, by changing 30-40% of the tanks water, every other day
same with the dovii below, its more about changing water, and reducing excess nitrate concentration, when it comes to faster growth than any other factor
