jaguar cichlid housed with bichirs question?

I have 3 bichirs all of which are 4 inches and above. Would it be ok to add a jag with them. The jag will only be about 2 1/2 3 inches to start. The tank is 75 gallons

I wouldnt. The bichirs arent really up to handling that much aggression, and the jag will most likely out compete them for food.

I would only try if you have other tank's to put the jag in if things go wrong.

even if it works keep in mind you might have to go out of your way to feed the polypterus, target feeding etc

Well the lfs said they would take both the firemouth and the arowana this saturday on trade. So does a jag cichlid sound ok or should i shoot for something different
