Hello again everyone, i hate to be posting in this section of the forum but my jaguar has had some funny bruise or possible infection on the outside of its mouth.

i don't know if this was cause from it fighting with my green terror or what it is from. i know that it is bothered by it as i see him shaking his head and rubbing his mouth on the glass. has anyone seen anything like this before or have any idea of how to treat this?

thanks for any help here's the pics

This is certainly from violent liplocking activities. Separate either of the fish and do daily water changes by 20% until the wound heals. You can dab mercurochrome on the wound with a swab of cotton to help its wound recover.

thanks for the advice Lupin, i have Quartined the fish in a 50 gallon tank and she seems to be dooing fine. i figured out why my jag was getting very aggressive, as soon as i put here in the new tank she started laying eggs.
so she was getting very territorial and was fighting with my green terror.
