Hello everyone! My daughter picked out a cute little tiny fish with her father! She soon became a bit frightened by the baby fish attacking the larger fish. Yes, after some research I found we are the proud owners of a jaguar cichlid. I took the fish under my VERY unknowledgable wing and made my share of mistakes. I now have a HUGE fish named Maggie. She/He is very aggressive and I love this fish! lol Mags is about a foot long now and I need help in its care. So here I am!

Nothing is really wrong with Mags. I just need to learn more about this fish and maybe get some tips. I know my tank is too small... poor thing is in a 30 gallon. I can't afford a bigger tank, nor do I really have the room for one but I love my Monster Mags!
What kind of fish are in their besides the JAG

All I can say is in that 30g its gone be hard adding anything u can feed it pellets and frozen foods

I know better than to put ANY fish in the tank. Mags will kill them! I know Mags needs to be moved soon. I guess that is why I am here. Perhaps find people who came up with ways to keep a fish like mine. Garage tank? Build my own? Find a new home? lol I wish I knew! Is there an easy way to sex Mags?
btw... Mags is the prettiest Jag I have ever seen! Markings are perfect. Not sure if you can see the picture I used as my profile picture yet!
